Michael G. Thistle, Esq. is an Executive Director of AIM and offers over thirty-years of diverse commercial property and casualty insurance experience as both a Consultant and a senior insurance company officer responsible for the placement and management of reinsurance. Michael was a founding Partner in a managing general insurance agency comprised of numerous agency shareholders which included the management of an offshore captive reinsurance company with over 20 agency shareholders.
Michael’s consulting and insurance legal career involved many projects including insurance companies, agent/broker distribution firms and insurance buyers. He also consulted in the formation and management of offshore captive reinsurance companies; insurance product development and execution strategies; development of affinity/group insurance products and the formation of an offshore management company dedicated to overseeing the management and operations of captive reinsurance companies.
Michael has a B.S. International Relations from Saint Josephs University and a M.B.A. from Temple University, and J.D. from Quinnipiac. He is also is a licensed Pennsylvania Attorney, and Insurance Producer.
